Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a WaveScorePro account or using www.wavescorepro.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. WaveScorePro is operated by I-Assist Pro Limited, registered in Ghana.
2. The Service
WaveScorePro provides real-time audience-measurement, demographic analytics, and independent ad-verification certificates for West African radio and television stations. Data sources include streaming telemetry (DIRECT), USSD panel surveys (PANEL), and probabilistic modelling (MODEL); every number is labelled with its source.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Station Managers represent that they are authorised by the station they claim. Advertisers and Brand managers represent that they are authorised by the entity they act on behalf of. You are responsible for safeguarding your password.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to (a) scrape, mirror, or republish WaveScorePro data without a written licence, (b) attempt to alter or forge transmission certificates, (c) impersonate any station you do not own, or (d) use the Service to harass, defame, or violate any applicable law.
5. Plans, Billing & Refunds
Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Agency) are billed in Ghanaian Cedis (GH₵) via Paystack. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are pro-rated only when the Service is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to our fault.
5A. Founding Station Programme [PENDING COUNSEL]
If your station is admitted to the Founding Station programme on or before the date we launch our representative sampling layer (referred to internally as “Phase 2”), the following commitments apply. (a) Free measurement — you pay GH₵0 for the Phase 1 measurement product (live digital connection counts, station dashboard, scoped rank, audience report PDF, embed widget, and stats-source wizard) for the entire Phase 1 period. Phase 1 will continue until we publicly announce a Phase 2 launch date at least 90 days in advance. (b) Preferential Phase 2 rate — when Phase 2 launches, your station is guaranteed a discount off the then-current Starter list price, equal to the `founding_rate_pct` recorded on your account at the time we approved your station claim (default 50%). This discount is personal to your station, is not transferable, and applies for as long as your station remains actively hosted or connected to WaveScorePro under your ownership. (c) Priority access — Founding Stations receive priority for early access to Phase 2 features during any staged rollout. (d) What we will not do — we will not retroactively withdraw the Founding Station status once granted, and we will not silently switch a Founding Station to a paid tier without written notice at least 30 days in advance. (e) Termination for cause — we may revoke Founding Station status only if the station materially breaches these Terms (for example, submitting a fraudulent NCA licence number, or attempting to inflate its listener figures). (f) This clause is written in plain language and marked [PENDING COUNSEL]; the final legal wording will be settled with our Ghanaian counsel before Phase 2 launch and may refine — but will not reduce — the commitments above.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, designs, station catalogues, demographic models, and aggregated insights are the property of I-Assist Pro Limited. You retain ownership of any campaign data you upload; you grant us a worldwide licence to process it solely to deliver the Service.
7. Independent Ad Verification
Transmission certificates issued by the Service are tamper-evident and cannot be altered by the station after issuance. Certificates carry a scope label identifying how they were issued — audio-fingerprint verification, stream-metadata detection, or manual attestation — and the label is printed on the certificate itself; the types differ in how they are produced (see wavescorepro.com/methodology). Certificates are public at /verify/{certificate_number} and remain available for 7 years.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I-Assist Pro Limited's aggregate liability is capped at the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue from advertising decisions.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we suspect of fraud, abuse, or non-payment. You may close your account at any time from /profile.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and posted here with a new “last updated” date.
